This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So I've had this profile for months , but I haven't even utilized it for anything until now. Well, I guess today is as good as any right? My intended use for this profile is to use it as hub for all the things relating to a comic I'm writing. Every piece of work I commission people for will be put here, so that if people are interested ( hopefully there will be ) they can follow along, and maybe follow those artists as well.
I am currently a 23 year old college student working to get into the Communications field. I'm also working hard on writing my own comic, using this page as a hub of sorts for all the art that comes out of it. I am a Hawaii resident, which exposed me to a lot of different cultures as a child, the most prominent being Japanese culture. It really pumps me up when I go to a bookstore and see a ton of people reading manga that I would have never guessed would. It pushes me to want to give those folks something to enjoy. What I think started this whole crazy idea, was my first manga, Usagi Yojimbo by Stan Sakai. I was in third grade when I learned about that series during a classmates book report. My school actually had a lot of the volumes and I quickly read through all of them. After that, I began day dreaming and creating all these characters in my head, and until I was in college trying to figure out my goals, I realized that I had what it took to at least try writing. I had picked up writing in high school, and had even tried writing my own novel, but just couldn't seem to stick with it. After reading a few more manga and a few DC comics, I realized that with the right team, being a comic writer was not such a crazy idea. I hated constantly writing out emotions and scenes, so why not just show those things through art? And so, that's where I am now. Writing whenever and wherever I can. Hopefully one day soon, I can put out a product that's really so something to talk about
